Precision Camera University 2012 {GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY}

I can’t believe I never blogged about my first PCU!  The best excuse I have is that I had NO clue!!

I recently went to listen to Hanson Fong at a class at Precision Camera.  He was my first instructor at PCU 2012 and he is very entertaining but again, I had NO clue!!!  Well, things made sense to me during this second class…finally!  He asked me what I remembered about his first class and all I could say was that I was overwhelmed and the one thing that stuck in my mind was the triangle thing when posing, yes those were my words…”the triangle thing”.  OK how embarrassing is that?  During this second class, the triangle thing made sense…..look for the triangle when posing groups of people.  Don’t place them all at the same height which makes the image so much more interesting.

Then there was Lindsey Adler.  She made sense because she stressed that you can use what you have available (light) to create beautiful images.  All I had at that time was my camera and the kit lenses so I was about ready to call it quits because I did not have all the cool lights that the other photographers had so there was no way I could create images like they did.  I think my best shots were from her class.

I love PCU!

Until next time,

xoxo Anna

Precision Camera University 2014 {GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY}

Three years ago I had the great opportunity to attend Precision Camera University.  This is  a 3 day weekend full of learning!  There are skilled, professional photographers teaching the classes, beautiful models, and GREAT make-up and hair artists.  I must mention that this weekend happens at the T bar M resort in New Braunfels and PC feeds us the entire weekend.

I have now attended 3 PCUs and will continue to attend each year that I am able to do so.  A big thanks to Mandy Earnshaw, class director for Precision Camera, and all the great folks at PC for a great weekend.

If you are a photographer and are looking for a great learning experience, networking opportunities, and a way to make new friends that enjoy the art of photography just as you do, click on the links for PC above and start planning for next year….I know I am.

Until next time,

xoxo Anna
